I have a love/hate relationship with the color red. Sometimes I love it and sometimes I find it to be annoying to look at and too abrasive. I'd say that since last spring, I've been more on the love side of things -- perhaps my newfound consistent fondness for the bright hue is here for the long haul? In fact, this linen boyfriend blazer is one of my favorite pieces and for this specific look, I mindlessly reached for it on Valentine's day, not even making the correlation with the color of love until later.
This combo is kind of a go-to for me: simple shirt and denim with an oversized blazer. It's super easy and kind of a default uniform. When my grandmother passed some years ago, I was lucky to inherit a lot of her jewelry, but also her amazing Liberty scarves collection, which I've been sporting with utmost pleasure as of late. It ads a little flair, wouldn't you say (canine in the background notwithstanding)?
